the desire for Endless Franchise is sublimated hunger for God. if the franchise ends the hunger pricks, the dread tide ebbs. the standalone short story exists, in the franchise acolyte's imagination, like the grim reaper a the end of a dark dirt road

a cold skyline coney is a delicacy i could wax on forever. it sounds like it'd be even more slop but overnight in the fridge gives it structural integrity so you can slice off thin slices with a knife. the sweetness of the cake, the spice of the chili, the rich and tender fruitiness of the cheese
I want everyone to post their hometown slop (if you don't have a cuisine that qualifies then your town has zero culture).

Skyline is fine and hits at 3 am just like taco bell lol

This was a really fun chat with Thomas, and it took us two tries, with a month in between because a power cut caused Thomas to lose the first half of the interview! I'm kinda glad we got to chat again though, a lot happened in the month in between that helped me better articulate some things.

i find the gregg turkington character both frightening and fascinating. there's an eerie sort of joke in tim heidecker finding ever-new-low descents to go to, and you'd expect a straight man to balance the act, but instead this normal dude can always manage to be more pitiful, more incorrect
