I can confirm everything jn this piece of article. I may be Haitian-Canadian but most of my family are Haitian-American. Nowadays, they have church services online and before the sermon they really have all the immigration information. They even raise money for lawyers and help out with everything.

For tonight’s full moon, the last supermoon of 2025, I thought it would be on point to feature “Moonshine Dolly” by Jamaica’s 2021 Poet Laureate Olive Senior. It’s a haunting poem about a Jamaican children’s game that youngsters played on moonlit nights in times past.

Birds have been chirping since this morning and our Julie mango tree presented us with another late-season fruit. This might be its end, so I’m even more grateful for its faithful provision. Hurricane Gilbert claimed our East Indian mango tree.

When the Maroons were almost starving, Nanny pondered surrendering to the British. In a dream, a voice told her to wait 1 more day. When she awoke the next morning, she found 3 pumpkin seeds in her pocket. She planted them on the side of a mountain now known as Pumpkin Hill.
