Not sending the National Guard to Chicago gave a false sense of "things will be fine actually", but ICE has been everywhere. This entire thread has all happened only over the past 5 hours
outside the detention/“processing” facility in broadview, illinois:
a crowd of protesters, some of whom showed up before 5 am, is heckling ice agents arriving to work.
a few minutes ago, special response team agents came out to push protesters away from the driveway. pepper balls already flying.
