The vampires aren't consistently a metaphor for anything at all. They are the least metaphorical vampires of all time. The main way they interact with the racial themes of the movie is by offering an escape from human racial structures.
Feel free to yell at me bc it’s always possible I’m just dumb, but I think if you’re going to make a movie where vampirism is—overwhelmingly but not consistently—a metaphor for whiteness, you should probably not build a major character completely out of dialogue about how she’s white-passing

not feeling GS9 :(. Uprisings were fun because they were designed to that fighting through them normally is the fastest way to complete them, and even then I was often soloing them towards the end of the season so I could go at my own pace. Mandating the groupfinder for flashpoints is rough. #swtor
