Go ahead, try...in vain...to forget about Thomas Homan. The Trump admin is trying very hard to erase him from your mind. They can't. He's right there...where he needs to be. Want to defy Trump? Then keep Tom Homan top of mind.

Market concentration → Less competition → Higher prices for consumers → Corporate profits at 70-year high → Record stock buybacks → Higher shareholder value → More power for corporations and the rich.

How do we fight back? Break up monopolies and rebuild union power.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis diverted more than $35 MILLION in taxpayer dollars to defeat two ballot initiatives last year.

I’ve got the @miamiherald.com‘s blockbuster reporting on how DeSantis cheated needy Floridians and children from their already-earmarked funds.

After buying it for $18.8 billion, Walgreens' new private equity owner has eliminated paid holidays for all hourly workers on Christmas and New Year's.

Last year, Walgreens had a CEO-to-Worker pay gap of 410 to 1.

Corporate greed that would make even Scrooge blush.

What we have now is a two-tiered society with a wealthy few at the top and the vast majority of Americans struggling to make ends meet.

It’s corrosive to our economy and democracy.

This Christmas the real Scrooges are corporations that raked in record profits this year and paid their CEOs millions of dollars but still deny workers a living wage and benefits.

The lesson of history is that tyrants cannot be appeased.

Appeasement only feeds their insatiable hunger for power.

Tyrants prey on people who feel unsafe and vulnerable.

But without mass submission, a tyrant is powerless.

Remember this.

Meanwhile, the heads of those companies are some of the richest people on the planet.

It's also a warning about what happens when greed runs the economy.

The concentration of wealth in the hands of an elite few isn't just bad for our economy. It's corrosive to our democracy.

When the wealthy and well-connected control our political system, the American people don't have a voice.

The result is demagoguery and corruption.
