Jobs are going to be lost by the millions. At the same time, new efficiencies, businesses and entire industries are going to open up that will blow our minds. For those of us in the white-collar workforce, it's about to get scary.

When I read this, I felt the tingle of early 2020, when the first cases of the novel coronavirus were reported outside China. Containment has been broken. And the so-called "knowledge economy" is in the first innings of a total reordering. Jobs are going to be lost by the millions.
