Fun fact: you can pretty reliably glitch out ChatGPT by feeding it the first three lyrics to the theme song to Serial Experiments Lain and telling it it’s wrong when it misattributes them. It feels meta.

If there was an American political party that prioritized empiricism and pledged to change any position contradicted by empirical fact, I’d vote for them in a heartbeat. Both parties have their soaring narratives but they both fuck trans people because neither acknowledges medical science.

This is terrifying and unsurprising. From the start, ICE has been picking people off the streets and sending them into detention centers with no reporting. It’s been incredibly hard to track down anyone who has been detained.

If you discuss the circumstances of a man's death with tears in your eyes but will not discuss the reality of how that man lived his life, it speaks to which you care more about. People speak in flowery terms about how he lived in the abstract, but it's an act of cowardice to not make it concrete.
