I started up a new hobby. Bobbin Lace making. I made my bobbins from skewers & beads (from the dollar store). So far its not bad, trying different things with what I have to see if it's something I'll stick with so I don't waste money.

Frankenstein was so good. del Toro did an amazing job once again. His love for practical set and craftsmanship made such a beautiful visual. I can't wait to get my hands on the art book.

Finished the last episode of Cloudward, Ho! I'm not a big steampunk person, but I do enjoy silliness that is pulp. I need them to fully make some books on the adventures! I would buy them so fast

Trickle-down economics was always a sham.

Nothing has ever trickled down.

In college I struggled finding my own art style because I was being taught so many different styles. In my Techniques 2 class, I got to learn a way Drew Struzan did his. I had a lot of fun, especially since I loved his art. My poor little art heart is sad to hear of his passing.

These stories need to be told. Having graphic novel adaptations for them is great. Being told you can't read something is bullshit. Being told that something as horrific as the Holocaust is too difficult for children to understand, try telling that to the children that had to live it. #bannedbooks

First movie for my spooky season is 1959 House on Haunted Hill staring Vincent Price.
Most trivia for the movie is regular info but it is eerie that the exterior overlooks the Los Feliz Murder Mansion, which happened a few months after filming.

Critical Role, campaign 4 starts today. New story. New world. Starting with a cold open threw me for a loop at first. But the ad spot right after was just great 🤣 Sam in that robe was amazing

If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, gun reform, universal child care, and a living wage.

The right-wing agenda isn’t about “life.”

It’s about control.

I started playing a solo rpg The Librarian's Apprentice. I am really liking this, even if I only made it a few rooms before I ran out of fatigue.

Just a random reminder that trickle-down economics was invented by conservatives in the 1980s to justify massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. It’s been nothing short of a disaster.

Did a little bit of art time with my bestie. While they were doing a little bit of painting. I did some lino. When I get home I'll actually try printing it to see how well it turned out.

A page from Takashi from the Bike Shop. I 100% understand how she feels. It gets really lonely when people share their life events with each other and don't tell you about it.

And one final thought: Ozzy going out after giving an emotional final performance that raised a ton of money for charity is more spiritually uplifting and did more genuine good than anything any televangelist and religious grifter who railed against him ever did combined.
