The Labour Government reeling off the same far-right talking points on immigration. And look who is celebrating. The far-right.

Have to say.. very tired of this now. We all know Brexit is a shitshow. Nothing is better. No one is happier.
No one who really cared about our country or understood how anything actually worked would do this and then stand around scratching their heads at the mess.
Very amusing to watch Reform complain about all the things wrong with the UK - every one caused by Brexit - without actually mentioning Brexit, as if they happened by magic.

The Chancellor is calling out the damage Brexit has done to our economy. Our polling shows the British public agrees - 62% say that Brexit has been a failure.

We’ve asked voters in Reform UK constituencies if they benefited from Brexit.

The answer? A resounding No.

The Spectator (owned by GBNews owner Paul Marshall - estimated wealth of £800 million) doesn’t like taxing wealth fairly.

I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?

Let’s tax wealth fairly, fund front line services & make hope normal again.

We flounced out of the EU on the say-so of politicians who lied to us. And what a total shitshow that’s turned out to be. The polar opposite of what they promised. Now the call to flounce out of the ECHR. By the same people. Telling the same lies. Has the country been kicked in the head by a horse?

Highly unlikely that Government will succeed in recovering any of the PPE Medpro money. The legal threshold for recovering sums an insolvent company has already paid out is high. This is yet another reason why it was appalling that Gove et al chose to deal with tiny box-fresh VIP lane suppliers.

It was a Russian cocktail 🍸 mixed with Kremlin influence, US hedge funds, and media moguls.

And public got the hangover as elites pocketed the profits.

@ed-miliband.bsky.social I doubt you’ll see this, but I note from this FT article of 5/9/2025, that there looks set to be a major shortfall of uranium due to mines becoming exhausted. That’d mean far higher electric prices if you go ahead with your SMR nuclear reactors.
