Acrobat problems. 🤣 This makes his balance on the balcony really funny. It hammers the pirate analogy home for me. He can swing from the rigging, but cannot balance on land.

Burnout is clinically understood as a combo of 6 factors—work overload, lack of control, insufficient rewards, breakdown in community, absence of fairness, & value conflicts—and only a fraction of it is under your control. Burnout is a systemic problem, so be kind to yourself and hard on the system.
Hey gang I've had to learn recently that the whole "burning out" thing is real so if you find yourself being panicked every waking second that you're not working on something, despite those seconds being very rare, you should maybe listen to the signals and take an intentional break before you crash

I really hope that since we now know she has ball joints, that in S2 we see Velvette lose a limb or her head and just be totally unfazed. ![Brandon Rogers: I just want to say, me personally as a writer the whole thing about [Blitz’s] inferiority and his being kept down by this oppressive system, I have felt this way my whole adult life. I started doing YouTube in 2006, because I put my name on auditions, and — to this day — I have never landed an audition. In my life. I’m thirty-fucking-six years old, I’ve never landed an audition; Viv was the only one who believed in me enough to cast me in something. [Brandon puts his hand on Viv’s knee, and she grasps it in her own hand.] Viv is the only one in Hollywood who believed in me enough to give me this part. I have never landed an audition, and I show up to these fucking cons, and what does it say? “Youtuber”. I am a goddamn actor. I am a comedian. But I’m still called a youtuber! And we’re looked at as less — people go “oh, well, we’re certainly different” — no offence to anyone here, but we fucking paved our way, I have to, I do all my actors’ pay, I write scripts, I edit my own shit. I don’t just show up and get cast into something. Other than Viv! No one looked at me and said, “You’re good enough”. So… yes, I do feel a lot of Blitz’s underdog-ness comes from a very, very core part of my soul. And, um, I’m getting angry.
Morgana Ignis: I just wanted to add onto that, because Brandon and I have vents about this, that we even feel like we’re in a subset of a subset, and the idea that mainstream Hollywood will look for a specific type of gay male actor and looking for a specific type of trans woman. When we got into this thing, we still don’t feel like we’re the right kind. So not only am I incredibly grateful to Viv for giving me such a blessing of a character, that has also brought me an audience that wants to see more content from me. And it introduced me to Brandon!
