If you’ve never seen it, this 1958 CBS TV episode of “Trackdown” LITERALLY featured a traveling salesman/grifter named Walter TRUMP who claims he's the only one who can save the villagers from deadly meteors by building a wall.

There’s a narrative that Gaetz was a deliberate head-fake — a distraction to boost the real candidate — but I am always suspicious of narratives that attribute four-dimensional chess to trump as opposed to knocking over the table and eating the checkers.
