This is, unfortunately, true.

It would’ve been better for everyone, ordinary Russians included, if the West had stepped in to defend #democracy decisively from the start.

Firm support in 2021 might well have prevented the attack altogether!

Now all will bleed needlessly. Both blood and money.
Once saw some Ukrainians mention how it felt that a certain number of them had to die to 'unlock' support they should have had since day one, and :(
