42.5C at Telfer ,Australia might be the world's highest temperature,since maximums in Iran,Senegal,Mauritania and Mexico have dropped.

Above warmer oceans, clouds evaporate faster, exposing the dark ocean to direct sunlight, leading to even more warming.
