Just an update on how I'm doing.
8 months on from the accident. My leg is still broken.
It's formed a lot of new bone. But as you can see from the latest x-ray. It's not forming in the break itself, so not fusing together...

And we actually have some progress!
It appears my bone is finally starting to solidify.
The comparison was very clear:
What was cloudy & transparent is a lot brighter & more opaque.
I feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Took Mum out for her Christmas present this evening.
We went to see Fairytale of New York at the Dominion.
Fantastic night.
But it's shown me my limitations. Between public transport (where I needed mum's help) & being wedged into uncomfortable positions during the show I'm feeling broken now.

OK update on the leg as I had my appointment this week. It's now 11 months on from the accident.
Leg's still broken. They think it's better but the excess bone growth is still growing. Which is a concern.
Yet again I'm waiting on my next appointment.

Crockpot turkey thigh, with garlic & white wine (www.thespruceeats.com/crockpot-tur...) Potato Dauphinoise, Vichy carrots, and mixed green veg.
That turkey thigh is so good.
My only criticism is that I would prefer a thicker gravy, but that's just personal preference.
