Every day I believe a little more that this man has never shopped for food, used a vacuum, loaded a dishwasher, or any other mundane task we all do every day and that if he did any of those things, he wouldn't be the monster he is.
If he had ever travelled outside his golden dome, at any point in his pitiful life, he’d know these markets could be in any city anywhere in the country, but he hasn’t, so he’ll never understand how average Americans depend on them, not just for food, but for community and belonging…

It's nice this was defeated but whew boy does it suck that it's such a close vote—with of course the vast majority of Republicans in favor—for "should employers be allowed to screw low-wage workers out of their minimum wage and overtime even more than they already do?"
Some House floor drama as Republicans are currently losing a vote on a bill to let employers to exclude workforce education and development training from minimum wage and overtime calculations. Labor-friendly R's (there are a few, sometimes) voting no, Johnson huddling with them for ~30 mins now
