Working to become a better human daily. Things and stuff at AWS. My posts are definitely my own.
I swear I have something to update on my computer in order to get things done every single day.

The weather in Atlanta this week is not what I was expecting.

they had resettlement money and were applying for asylum but, uh, I guess asylum is canceled? and so are their resettlement funds?

I appreciate anyone that participated in making this happen. So freaking funny.
It looks like someone has hacked a crosswalk button in Palo Alto to deliver at least two different messages in the voice of Elon Musk.

Does anyone else need a little breathing room after a conference—just to think?
Not to sprint into the next thing, but to quietly sort through all the new ideas, the passing conversations that linger, and the moments that made you feel seen or inspired without feeling pressure?

Yeah me either...

Heading back to the states today and I cant seem to stop the tears in my eyes.
I have heavy family stuff to deal with once I land but I am also feeling despair, anxiety, hopelessness, and anger with the country I call home.

Async messaging is how we can move forward, by taking context to one place so people can coordinate with context (Docs is a great place). And keep it close to your code so you communicate with the future team.

AI being that teammate helps with good docs (context)

Omg Alex Chan is smashing it talking about building things to last. "Will an open source piece of code be supported 20 years into the future". Manual legal processes to approve every node dependency? Good luck with that. #monkigras how do you know what's built to last?

Every day gets more and more depressing right now. How is everyone managing?

I knew it was going to be bad but it’s trending much worse than I anticipated.
