What an amazing week in Seattle for the first global AWS Heroes Summit! As a former AWS Hero myself, I continue being impressed by this unique group of people.

I'm so proud of the show my fiancée @taylorjacobsen, the community team, and all of AWS DevEx put on!

My friend Adrian Hornsby's book "Why we still suck at resilience" is published!

Do your organization a favor and get this book! It tackles the frustrating reality of why resilience practices fail and gives you tools to fix it.

Congratulations on the launch, Adrian! ❤️

Such a fun event in Helsinki with AWS User Group Finland! One of the attendees described what I did as "lively" and I guess that sums it up quite well!

As always, these events are all about the community and the people. I'm leaving Helsinki with a full heart. I love you all! ❤️

Together with @readysetcloud.io, I demonstrated how to build production-ready multi-agent AI systems at AWS re:Invent (DEV415).

The key? Treat agents like distributed systems with A2A protocol, MCP for typed interfaces, and RISEN prompts for deterministic behavior.
