My two favorite superheroes growing up were Hal Jordan and Matt Murdock, who were both constantly struggling with the black/white morality that they had accepted as irrefutable truth. Hal’s been retconned to hell but Matt never lost that struggle, and the MCU version of Daredevil gets that.
