A note on the death penalty. A criminal lawyer told me it means more murderers go free. When conviction = execution, juries give defendants the benefit of far more than reasonable doubt, and acquit rather than risk killing someone innocent. Very few cases are clear cut in real life. Forget fiction.

i think the team has really crushed it with the video rollout. there’s been challenges with upstream technologies (both vendors and open source) but nothing a few days of engineering couldn’t resolve. i love what small eng teams can do when everyone is at the top of their game
