I'm Iskra, an artist and a writer who loves celestial themes, color blue and cosmic horror. I share art of my characters as well as commissions I made for others!

I'm working on a new weird/political fantasy novel about cosmic lizard people fighting for truth and power.

In the first three months I strayed away from the right path (the blue path), but fortunately I found my way back in the end.
2025 artwork summary. There are 13 artworks displayed, one for each month and an additional masterpiece of the year, the artist's choice. Most of them are blue, portraying an anthropomorhic lizard.

I got dozens of sketchbooks as gifts... time to get back to traditional, I guess?

I recently bought some colored pencils, but I don't like them, so I'll stick with graphite pencils and do some monochrome art. I love b&w, but I rarely do it in digital because I always feel obliged to do coloring.

I've been reworking this during the last few days and I'm finally satisfied. The key events are the same, but I changed/merged/cut some scenes and focused on the cosmic horror flowers blooming where they found the Weird Bones™. I'm fixing the last scene rn, soon I'll be ready to go to chapter 2!

It has been two years since my cat first started having bad health problems. This is a revamp of an older illustration I made as a fundraiser to get him treatment, which everyone very generously supported. Two years on we know he has IBD for sure, it is hard, but he is still going strong!
