We ran out of gas (in the UK sense of the word) at 10.01pm. The shop from which to purchase gas shut at 10.00pm 😔

Are these stamps still valid? I'm sure I only bought them last Christmas but they do not have a barcode & can't work out from the Royal Mail website if I can use them or not. Don't want to send my great aunt a Xmas card & land her with a few but equally don't want to buy new ones if I don't have to

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

The FT writes: ‘In Trump’s interview with GB News, its correspondent, Bev Turner, gave North Korea’s broadcasters a run for their money. “It feels much safer here,” Turner said, contrasting Washington to London, though the chances of being murdered in DC are around 26 times higher than in London.

Some of neighbours got really enthusiastic about Halloween a few years ago, coining it "nightmare on ***** Street". I think virtually every child within a three mile radius knocks on on our road, have about 300 'treats' and worrying if it's enough or not. That's how I'm spending my Friday night haha

Still awaiting my George $oros payment for showing up at #NoKINGS_Day & staying until noon.

Somebody slipped this 20 under my door, but something about it seems fake.

Strayed over to twitter to try find out how the area of Jamaica my aunt is from is doing, came across the insane conspiracy that there was no hurricane, that this is being faked to make 🍊 look bad 🤷. I truly despair about people

Can't reply directly to you but we also visit frequently as don't live that far away. Earlier this year we were eating a sandwich in the sun near the baths, listening to 2 old men complaining about car parking charges being a scam, loudly proclaiming that Farage would get rid of them 🤷
No. Not Buxton. It's such a nice town (we visit there frequently). I have noticed however many shops have the radio tuned to Jeremy Vine. This also seems to correlate with the shop staff being on the older side. So on reflection, perhaps not so surprising they turned to Reform.

Strayed over to look at #Melissa tweets and immediately find the climate change denying, cloud seeding, conspiracy theorists. It really is a cesspit over there.
Hurricanes as powerful as this are entirely the fault of human made climate change and we will only see more as our planet heats more

As we drive past Trent bridge at 59mins, loads of #NFFC fans walking from the City ground, in the pub having a drink down the road, which has been filling up over last half hour, actual cheers that Ange has been sacked. Not a great day/start to the season for the club
