Well there’s certainly no basis for negotiations now. I feel a bit sorry for everyone who has to go to Geneva for nothing. Maybe they can still cancel

Anyone got any more questions about whether Donald Trump would do anything if the worst happens and Russia turns against NATO allies in Europe?

Ukraine is Europe’s greatest ally now, and we need each other as dearly as never before.

I'll allow the dubious chess metaphor in this case! But no matter how bad whatever is in the Epstein files is for Trump--and clearly it's bad--I'm sure whatever Putin has on him is worse.
It's beginning to look grim for Trump's chances of escaping the Epstein scandal unscathed. We joined the I've Had It Podcast to discuss!

🚨 Carbon dioxide (CO₂) levels set a new monthly *record high* in May 2025 - 430.51 ppm (seasonal maximum)

This is the second largest May-May increase in this dataset (3.6 ppm higher than 2024). This is not good... 🫣

I helped build a government AI system. DOGE fired me, rolled the AI out to the whole agency, and implied the AI can do my job and the jobs of the others they've fired.

It can't. But, what DOGE accidentally revealed about themselves in the process is fascinating. 🧵

Trump now trying to apply Putin's "Nazi biolabs in Ukraine" to Canada.

"FENTANYL BIOLABS IN CANADA!!"
Kevin Hassett suggests Canadian authorities are covering up major fentanyl operations: "I can tell you that in the situation room I've seen photographs of fentanyl labs in Canada that the law enforcement folks were leaving alone. Canada's got a big drug problem."

A lot of what appeals to Trumpists about the sudden abandonment of Europe, Ukraine, Canada and Mexico is the emotional trauma it is causing.

They're turning what was perhaps an imbalanced relationship into an abusive one. The cruelty is the point, and the shock and pain expressed is the pleasure.

When Trump and Co. take Russia's side, critics often say they’ve been “compromised,” that Putin “has something on them.” But that lets them off the hook. It implies they don’t want to take this stance but have been reluctantly coerced into it.

No evidence of that. It's worse. They’re choosing this.
