I am kind of sitting here mouth agape as I realize that the thing that really got eight Democrats to cave was a provision which provides backdoor criminal and civil immunity to them personally by making it functionally impossible to ever investigate the Senate
read the actual bill text and this is quite literally a provision designed solely to impede civil and criminal investigations into United States Senators and their staff. www.appropriations.senate.gov/imo/media/do...

they're calling it the "i'm rubber you're glue act"
Giving the entire senate blanket immunity right as the admin is trying to kick into gear its “let’s try criminalizing all former enemies of the president” phase lmfao

dawg how many of them went to the island
The proposed cave in bill that the senate passed includes a Frankenstein section that basically makes it impossible to prosecute sitting senators for a whole gamut of criminal acts and even gives them grounds to sue people who try to prosecute them lol

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.
The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.
Why?
It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.
