Reminder: raccoons don't "eat garbage." Humans just throw out enough perfectly good food that they've learned it as a viable food source.

Opinion: Zack Fair is the ultimate example of how to write a character that is both a Real Human Being and also a JRPG protagonist.

Games should make HD textures an extra download so games don't have to be 50-200 GB of texture barf if you don't want to use them anyway.
Or better yet, just stop chasing the endless rabbit hole of extreme definition. It's cool seeing 2024 games come out at like 7-10 GB or less, actually.

The most frustrating thing about being more prohibitively poor than most people is that I feel like I'm... Losing my ability to connect with people about things, without just feeling jealous about being perpetually behind.

In totally failing to not brand myself as an entire randomizer dingus, today I was reminded of one of the randomizers I'd most like to see. Not in a "change the order you engage in events and receive items to give you a different gameplay experience" sort of way, but just a "silly fun" randomizer.

Today: probing friend lists of friend lists to look for people I know or would like to see posts from. Last time I did this, uh... There wasn't really much to find.
