If only the Constitution vested the power to undertake hostilities to Congress.
Trump in a single gaggle on Air Force One just threatened:

-- a second strike against Venezuela
-- Cuba
-- Mexico
-- Colombia
-- Iran
-- Greenland (which in turn would be an attack on the EU and Denmark)

Rep. Seth Moulton comes on CNN and starts by saying: "Is anyone going to just stop for a second and be honest? This is insane. What the hell are we doing? We've got a lot of problems in America today, and invading / occupying / running Venezuela does not solve any of them."

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

In Washington these days, the word often whispered by Republicans and shouted by Democrats and Never Trumpers is “unhinged.” Trump's own top aide calls it an "alcoholic's personality." This was a week that Trump's uninhibited second term was on display. www.nytimes.com/2025/12/18/u...

So last night as I was wondering why Pam Bondi diverted almost 200 National Security attorneys who should be chasing hackers and spies to redact the Epstein files, I remembered that John Eisenberg, who heads it, is the guy who altered the Trump-Zelenskyy transcript.

I don’t think the law passed by Congress said that DOJ has to release less than 1% of the materials by Dec 19.

… Under federal law, DOJ was supposed to release ALL of the Epstein files today with minimal redactions just to protect the identity of victims.

Washington Post's new headline is still wrong.

1. The release was not "huge."
2. DOJ missed the deadline to release all the files.
3, No mention of extensive redactions.

This is key; the biggest thing that didn't happen yesterday is neither Trump nor DOJ stated that everything with Trump's name on it or with his image has been disclosed.
If you have nothing to hide, wouldn't that be what you would do?
Instead, looks like DOJ is continuing the cover-up, as Ryan notes
A key to understand how the Bondi DOJ may be trying to hide information on other men implicated in Epstein's crimes:

Note how Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche's letter to Congress says DOJ is redacting information not only permitted by the Epstein Act but also ... the Privacy Act.⬇️

What we have now under President Trump is utterly inconsistent with equal justice under law. I watched, virtually day after day, his direction to the DOJ to prosecute his perceived political enemies and to insulate his friends, his family….
