Although I live in France, the UK is still the only place I'm a citizen and (thanks to brexit) the only place I can vote.
So anyone suggesting I shouldn't comment on UK politics or brexit gets a block.

Keep asking yourself/reminding yourself who OWNS the majority of UK press and media, and then you can stop wondering why they're so anti-UK, anti-Labour and pro Faragrifski/Boris/Tice etc. After you've learned that, ask who's funding them. This is all you need to do to maintain a healthy skepticism.

Keep asking yourself/reminding yourself who OWNS the majority of UK press and media, and then you can stop wondering why they're so anti-UK, anti-Labour and pro Faragrifski/Boris/Tice etc. After you've learned that, ask who's funding them. Ultra rich have their money where? In property yes and cant move that. In stocks & shares - if they sell those they remain here. In tax havens - yes but that money isnt here so we dont lose it. So what can they take away?

Of course everyone is pleased about the Michelle Mone case, but if you read even the headlines you'll see it's "a company linked to" her that was guilty.
The company is probably already being wound up, and the liquidators will be amazed to find it has no money or assets.

I can no longer stand two opposing attitudes in mirror: the defenders of Ukraine who deny the genocide in Gaza, the defenders of the Palestinian state who deny Putin's fascist regime’s crimes. Is it so complicated to fight occupations and war crimes and defend human rights everywhere?

Our French Baptist church had a special occasion today - after service we went down to the beach to baptise 5 people in the sea.
The waves were a bit lively, so I was happy not to be assisting this time!
