Filler as a term should be used less to describe "things not in the manga" and more "things that don't drive the plot, worldbuild, or change relationships at all". ATLA isn't an adaptation of anything, and yet The Great Divide is 100% filler. FMA03 veers off from the manga but that doesn't make it
