The Trump Regime’s view is that Alex Pretti and Renee Good were “domestic terrorists” while the Proud Boys are victims of the criminal justice system and deserving of pardons, even after being convicted of seditious conspiracy for leading the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

With Rosen, Cortez Masto, and Warner all now No’s on cloture on DHS Approps, the filibuster will get above 40 (I assume they’ll get pretty much every Dem senator). The question then will be what the Dems demand to let it go forward. Get ICE and CBP out of MN is the easiest message. It’s also right.

This is an actual post from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth: Praising ICE after Alex Pretti was killed, blaming the Democratic leadership of Minnesota, and writing that ICE is greater/better than Minnesota.

He is actively demeaning the people of Minnesota just hours after Pretti was murdered.

Trump and Noem’s untrained, masked ICE agents shot and killed another American this morning.

ICE needs to get out of Minnesota and stop terrorizing our neighbors.

Congress cannot give another cent to this rogue army.
Live: State officials decry fatal shooting. ‘We can’t live like this,’ Walz says
Protesters have swarmed the street where a man was shot and killed by federal agents Saturday. Republican Tom Emmer said Walz’s response was “dangerous.”

Mark Carney’s Davos speech is a rare moment of clarity – the old order is fading and middle powers must stop pretending it still works. That means consistency toward allies and rivals, and acting together to resist coercion, writes Van Jackson.

Mark Carney and the middle power moment
Mark Carney’s Davos speech argues the world has entered a rupture where great powers use coercion and the old rules no longer restrain them. The challenge for countries like Australia is to face reality, apply consistent standards to allies and rivals, and build collective leverage with other middle powers.

This Trump administration’s definition of “domestic terrorist” is any citizen who does not support Trump and any citizen who uses their first amendment rights to protest.

Trump told us in Davos how little he respects those who stand for democracy by smearing the US’s closest western allies.
