this!!! unless youre a freak like me who needs to shiny hunt on actual cartridges in order to feel something; dont waste money on buying games when you can get flash carts/ easy mods for old systems
my #1 advice for people getting into retro games is to get the hardware if you can and do not buy the games themselves. they are a losing proposition to actually own and there are much more modern solutions to accessing them even on original hardware.

I think about this sometimes and I'm convinced that if someone at Nintendo put their mind to it, they could absolutely make this work, either for trading up into a Virtual Console Gen 3/Colosseum game, or even just to deposit directly into Home.
