@danctheduck.bsky.social can't believe this is 20 years old. just came up at work because I caught someone in the cafe casually reading one of your posts on value chains!
Nintendo’s Genre Innovation Strategy: Thoughts on the Revolution’s new controller
I’m still jet lagged from my recent trip overseas, but I managed to stay awake for the new Nintendo controller announcement. I must say that I’m feeling like an excited Japanese school boy waiting …

The majority of human discourse seems to break down into “it would be bad if this were true so it’s not true” or “it would be good if this were true so it’s true” with a side of “you caused this bad thing to happen by telling me about it”.

Of course that’s your contention. You’re a first year Fediverse power-user. You just got finished reading about how Bluesky isn’t decentralized — Christine’s blog post probably — and you’re convinced that AT Protocol is a flash in the pan while ActivityPub is the real hope for the web’s future.

and Wayne Knight

were once partners

on a team of character actors who moonlit as private investigators

to supplement film/tv income by busting bad guys with their acting skills

you're transported into the last video game you played. don't tell me what it is, i can't hear you anyway. you are now stuck in a virtual world and if the console is turned off you will die. your soul will be stuck in the wires and you will not reach heaven
