Do you think Trump stayed up all night waiting for the Nobel call?? Minute by minute getting angrier?

Believe the survivors.
“I was r*ped sometimes 3 times a day on that island… and I was not the only girl on that island… Ghislaine must die in prison, because I’ve been in hell and back for the last 17 years.”

Listen to the survivors.

They’ve declared war on families and our collective future. Monsters all.
This bill is the definitive and durable proof that the government of the United States has decided that the people who live within its borders are its enemies, and that its purpose is to leverage its wealth and power to harm them rather than help them.

The country goes nowhere good from here.

Not surprised
Someone has gone through and actually run the numbers on molestation crimes against children.

The politicians who commit these crimes are overwhelmingly Republican.

67% of politicians convicted between February 10, 2023 and May 23, 2024 nationwide were Republicans.

Where’s Martir? What possible threat is he? I’m sickened.
Please take a minute to share these poster on social media today to raise awareness. His name is Martir García Lara, a 9‑year‑old fourth grader attending Torrance Elementary in Los Angeles County. They have been detained by ICE.

No words
Sent to me from a source who took this video yesterday who says LAPD pushed an unhoused person walking in the crosswalk. The fall caused the woman’s head to crack open. LAPD dragged and left her bleeding on the sidewalk, providing no medical care. The person a group of onlookers took her to the ER.

BREAKING: Scott Pelley just risked everything to make one thing clear:
The attack on free speech isn’t coming—it’s already here.

Journalists are being silenced, critics are being punished, and most of the media’s playing dead.

This is state-sponsored suppression. This is dictatorship in real time.

Just got word from my college roommate - who is the state archivist for the state of South Dakota - that due to the DOGE shutdowns of IMLS, they can no longer fund InterLibrary Loan in SD.

This means exchange between libraries, ability to get books delivered across the system, is gone as of 4/30.

Gospel.
Sure, I go to the library for books, but also sometimes I go just to exist in a space that's welcoming, organized, comfortable, judgement-free, and run by knowledgeable, helpful, passionate people, because that energy is straight up medicinal.

Please watch. Although the materials are different, our small manufacturing company is facing the EXACT same general issues. We are hearing from our foreign dealers that they may not want to continue investing in a US product. Global sales are 40% of our business. This is all so unnecessary 😡

Could I please ask the press to stop reporting Trump’s rather arbitrary numbers of the tariffs other countries impose as though this were real? The WTO has a tariff database. You can look up the real numbers there.

Libraries have been my place of refuge, source of joy and fuel for curiosity. Their plan is to erase positive public spaces of learning and community. Please do what you can to support your libraries!!
President Trump's executive order to eliminate the Institute of Museum & Library Services would have disastrous effects for communities nationwide. We call on all Americans who value reading & learning to reach out to their elected leaders.
