Let the record show, it was easy. Lawmakers made it harder and harder for people to move back and forth. They created this situation, to make it easier for companies to exploit workers.

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

The cost of medication in the US is because of the salaries of lobbyists, the money they line pockets with, and the commercials we watch. Marketing usually has a larger budget than research.
Drug companies have hired over 500 lobbyists this year to gut the Inflation Reduction Act's drug price negotiation provisions.

They outnumber public interest advocates more than 20 to 1.

We must get money out of politics and end Big Pharma's deadly greed once and for all.

Whenever people say to me "look at your parents, they did it the right way" I just roll my eyes. The goal posts for naturalization in this country has always been on wheels.

We're behind on so many things because people here weirdly cleave crab in a bucket mentality
81 years ago, FDR proposed a second Bill of Rights to guarantee every American the right to employment, healthcare, education, housing, and a living income. His words are as relevant now as they were then. Watch.

This is just too much law and order for me.

Hallmark of conservatism laws are for us, not them.

Every company he's affiliated with cuts corners to make more money at the expense of our lives. Just another way we're constantly subsidizing rich people.

Spotify is crashing HARD because of the boycott. Their stock dropped 11% in value over the last month. Let’s keep this going!

Tell everyone you know to boycott Spotify. There are plenty of alternatives that don’t run ICE advertisements and screw over artists.

We made it easy at boycottspotify.com.

It was a little different last week.

When population decline is mentioned, 100% next is women working outside the home being a primary cause.

Random thought: Many women have changed with the economy, but too few men have. Meaning women have taken on more & men are still about the same. Family policies would change, if more men did

It's only a handout if your poor.
And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’
Cost to fund SNAP and keep 42 million people from starving:

$100 billion

Cost of lost revenue due to tax cuts for the richest Americans in the top 1%:

$100 billion

One is decried as "welfare." One is not.

Why?

I want more people to care that SNAP benefits are being cut off on November 1. 40% of SNAP beneficiaries are children. This is callous and vile.

Larry Ellison is worth $392 billion.

He's bought:
—Sailing team ($875 million)
—Estate in Cali ($200 million)
—98% of a Hawaiian island ($300 million)

Now he's trying to acquire TikTok, HBO, CNN—and push them right.

A lot of good his giant tax breaks are doing the rest of us.
