My comic, FRACTURED, just launched its first Issue in May! My favourite thing about creating, especially the comic, has to be how much joy it brings me. Getting to see a thing and go "I made that" is one of the best feelings.

Yeah I remember hearing horror stories about Aaron Blaise. Like any industry, animation has an asshole man problem. I never got into the industry, but I somehow was connected to a lot of people within it, and... Well, some were not very nice to me. I think the industry told me I'd never get in, lol.

And AB is definitely shitty. Historically *awful* to women in animation, repeatedly homophobic, racially insensitive (at best), etc. Shitty people can make beautiful art.
So tired of constantly being sent Aaron Blaise's work because of what I draw. Having to tell these well meaning people that I can't support his art because he's a giant asshole. Then inevitably having to explain why over and over despite not wanting to. Even shitty people can make beautiful art.

Having gone to a prestigious art school, the art world is full of absolute self-important assholes who, unfortunately, are also really skilled at art. Some of my professors were the most miserable humans. And I hate we live in a culture that tends to promote them.
