Diversity doesn’t weaken unions. Racist bosses like Vance using racism to divide workers by race so they can exploit them weakens unions. All this stuff is arsonists complaining about the temperature in the building they set on fire. bsky.app/profile/diew...
JD Vance claims that diversity weakens unions, as people end up distrusting each other and not organizing.

Let me tell you two menswear stories related to this claim. 🧵

There is no world in which it is normal for the president to publicly call upon his attorney general to hurry up and prosecute his political foes. It’s like the Watergate tapes but posted on social media. Let’s get a grip on what’s happening here.

not just that he has no constitutional authority, there isn't even any particular legal or institutional mechanism by which the president can make anyone treat this as anything other than a weird advisory opinion.
This “explicit” is a weird editorial choice. The constitution gives the president no power over this at all. It’s not ambiguous.

Me, on the Syd Sweeney ad and life in the stupidest timeline:

This one puts the current moment and what's at stake in historical context.

I’m just wondering where it stops. I’ve seen suggestions about adding representatives to match the ratios from early on and no districts at all, just a number of reps for a state’s population. 🤷‍♂️
Probably no perfect solution. But this tug of war is only going to hurt those already hurting.
Great dialogue both for and against in the replies here.
Perhaps an unpopular opinion but I see this as a dangerous slippery slope. Sure the Left has "good intentions" for protecting democracy behind CA redistricting, but violations of the rule of law are democracy breaking, not reinforcing, no matter their source. Bad idea. www.sacbee.com/news/politic...

Y’all need to go touch grass and think a little bit longer than it took you to read the headline and post your clever little “did I do good fellow libs!?” comment. Yes, like many other states (even blue ones!) Idaho must do better.
But, damn.

While studies have linked high-fructose corn syrup to conditions such as insulin resistance, nutrition experts told PBS News that cane sugar is not a healthier alternative.

Look, we all know there are inefficiencies in government. I think we can all agree that saving lives is always worth the cost, though.
