Hell has frozen over.

Jack White got his first cell phone ever this past July at age 50 and only because it became really difficult to do certain things without one.

But he is willing to do a TikTok for his daughter. So cute.

Joined by her mom and Jack’s former wife the fabulous Karen Elson.

Otter on the River Bride this morning. Sent to us by John Creedon who works near the river and keeps a close eye on the dippers, otters and occasional kingfishers. Thanks John. #cork

Given the interest in the Camac River, since the wall at the back of that house in Inchicore fell into it, I thought some people might be interested in this article I wrote last April about the council's plans for flood defences along it.
Planned flood defences would protect homes and businesses along the Camac in Bluebell, Inchicore, and Kilmainham - Dublin Inquirer
It could also help smooth the way for the redevelopment of St Patrick’s Athletic FC’s home ground Richmond Park, which is next to the river.

I'm at the age where I'm aware that some people who are 25 were born in the year 2000, but also, that's not true and it's a lie because that's impossible.

People often say you should fill your ballot all the way down.

Allow me to provide a top PR-STV voting tip: you do not have to fill your ballot when there are multiple fascists on it

Wrote last month that I struggled to see how Fine Gael would do as well as they believed in the Irish general election.

Why?

- their pitch that everything is great = tricky sell
- housing + cost of living = main issues for voters
- political vacuum = vote scatter

I can’t see voters buying Simon Harris’s message that everything is great
You can’t deny the lived experience of housing-crisis emigrants, homeless families, renters and adults in their childhood bedrooms
