The reason why a lot of trans women become terminally online agoraphobic NEETs is because of society. Every NEET tgirl online degen tried to make it work offline once. I tell people a lot that the internet is kinder to me than irl ever was
You see more trans women in online spaces specifically because we have been forced out of every other venue.
We have to build our own networks online where the tools to build a platform are slightly more accessible than the ones held by traditional media gatekeepers.

This person is one hundred percent correct and it’s scary af. We will never “media literacy” our way out of this as a society. We are about to reap the whirlwind when it comes to misinformation, disinformation, and informational warfare.
