I just re-watched Swing Kids for the first time in over two decades. It seemed like an appropriate film given the events of the last nine months. The story alludes to political opponents of the Nazis having been disappeared or tortured. That is the future I fear for the US with this administration.

I don't like the concept of circumcisions on babies because I feel it goes against bodily autonomy. Willing adult males, no problem. That said, who the hell came up with the claim it causes autism?

I desperately need to vent to someone about work, but I have to keep all my comments on social media super vague. It's been a frustrating week, especially after recently being told that two colleagues basically blamed rape survivors for rape, while they were AT WORK, several months ago.

Before anyone comes for me, ADHD runs in our family. My youngest brother started pills at 5 years old. I started on them at 8 years old. Without them, I would have struggled in school until I gave up.

Considering that I was in a mental health hospital (voluntarily committed) twice, something I'm sure is in all the data RFK Jr. wants to get his hands on... yeah, I'm glad I have an up to date passport.
This is an executive order that lays the groundwork for sending homeless people and people with mental illness to concentration camps to be "civilly committed." It was never going to stop with immigrants.
