Speaker Johnson is violating the Constitution. Time to remove him.

"Neither House, during the session of Congress, shall, without the consent of the other, adjourn for more than three days, nor to any other place than that in which the two Houses shall be sitting."

So much of the lawlessness we are seeing now is occurring because the officials involved a) know they can be pardoned by b) a President with SCOTUS-granted immunity.

They might prattle on about accountability, but they are bound to him for protection as they break the law.

This "WHO'S NEVER COMING BACK" document published by the White House should be "EXHIBIT A" in any forthcoming hearing where a judge/justice has asked the White House to prove how it is "facilitating" the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

RFK Jr. is very loud and very WRONG about Autism.

1. It’s not a disease
2. There are thousands of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder who pay taxes, have jobs, can use the bathroom on their own, and are thriving in life.

Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism.

If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone.

Americans of conscience must stand against this now.

I'm so angry about this subject that I'm driven to distraction. The people in charge of these deportations are actually evil. I do not feel any longer that there's a significant difference between them and full-blown German Nazis from the 1930s and 40s. They are perpetrating Crimes Against Humanity.

If you have a Dem or Independent senator, call their office this morning - tell them to help Senator Booker out, like Chris Murphy did, by asking a long question to give him a break. He should not be carrying this burden alone.

The disclosure of highly classified information in a group chat wasn’t just some one-off security failure.

It was a window into how this Administration operates: with incompetence, recklessness, contempt for the truth, & a reflexive impulse to try to cover things up.
