Bass: We finally have some good news.

We got a great decision from the court—a temporary restraining order.

I think this showed that if we fight back peacefully, if we use the means our democracy provides, and in this instance, the courts—we get a proper decision.

Scanlon: They're flat out lying when they say they're just kicking undocumented immigrants off Medicaid because those folks were never eligible for Medicaid in the first place. The truth is Republicans know that kicking millions of Americans off of health insurance is unpopular.

Budzinski: Families making over $700,000 a year will see a boost of $12,000 almost entirely from tax cuts. Shockingly, households making $23,000 a year or less are set to lose about $1600 a year, mostly due to deep cuts to Medicaid and food assistance

Boyle: For every American household that makes under $55,000 a year, they will be poorer as a result of this bill. So it's quite clear under this Republican betrayal— the poor get poorer, the rich get richer, and the middle class falling further behind. This is wrong.

I’ve been in politics for over a half-century. I’ve watched as corporations and the super-rich flooded D.C. with campaign cash and ransacked our system.

It won't be easy, but here’s how we break the corporate oligarchy and return power to the people. https://youtu.be/sP0pRIBRcDk?si=o8uynfvuoVhcX7p8

In the spring of 2008, I feared America was on the verge of war with Iran — and, believing that it’s good style to get to know people before you bomb them, I made “Rick Steves’ Iran,” a one-hour special that could (and would) only debut on PBS. Sadly, this special has become pertinent again today.

I am not surprised in the least, but cannot fathom how our elected officials think that they are representing the will of the people when the people are not allowed a voice in any of these issues. Our public lands have been protected for so many years and we have obviously taken it for granted.

Undocumented immigrants contribute nearly $100 billion in taxes every year.

Meanwhile, the wealthiest 1% dodge $163 billion in taxes annually.

The real drain on America isn’t coming from the border — it’s coming from the boardroom.
