Happy birthday to the MOS 6502! It was 50 years ago today that people were able to buy their first samples of the chip from a jar in a hotel room at WESCON.

Here's my oldest 6502 from the 52nd week of 1975. Still works perfectly!

The delivery that arrived Thursday has been opened, a #Commodore COLT PC-10/PC-20!! They packed it very well & it is safe to say it arrived perfectly, plus the machine is clean inside & out in great condition!! Next to do is boot it up, just need more free time for that.

Tonight, I spent several hours just trying to write three 8" double sided floppies using a Greaseweazle. It turned out to be a huge ordeal due to having multiple bad disks which clogged the drive's heads.

In the end, it worked out! The good old Qume DT/8 drive is a real workhorse.

LAPD was on the radio crying about getting shot by rubber bullets by the sheriffs, so I'd say fair trade

@npr.org you guys have to do better. They already cut your funding (I am a monthly supporter). Miasma was a theory in ancient times. This playing both sides like they are equal when one is batshit insane is doing us all a disservice. Stand up for what is right. Be the press we deserve.
