A man in Indiana made an AT-AT costume for his horse, intending to only get a few pictures before removing it. When he took off the headpiece the horse got upset and insisted that he put it back on, which made the horse happy again. Now the horse isn't allowing him to remove any piece of the costume

They're doing reality shows about selling real estate in Salt Lake City. The bottom of the barrel is officially scraped, we need to go back to TV being about guys who live in a trailer and solve crimes for $200 a day plus expenses.

fwiw this is basically how we do things at BP. there are several commenters who are just muted (earnestly it's unclear to me if they know it, their posts just don't show up for everyone else) either because they're consistently rude or act in bad faith or just make things worse for others.
every site needs a version of somethingawful's "we can just ban you" policy to use against bad actors who make a game of ruining the site while making sure to always stay 1% shy of violating the rules as-written
