I hope it's clear to everyone now that Trump really is going for it - he's trying to become a dictator. I don't know if he'll succeed, but he's working to install himself as an autocrat unaccountable to voters. And he's weaponizing the military against Americans who oppose him as part of that effort

It just occurred to me that Trump's denial of Medicaid for many of his cult followers will leave them without legitimate medical coverage & they will resort to "wellness" scammers- those who wouldn't qualify for Medicaid payments. The snake oil salesmen figure to benefit more than anyone here.

It's 100% the sexism. The Edgy Online Left is often as misogynist as the right & anything women or girls do is laughable & cringy. There are ~55.4 million white women (18-64) in the US; many don't vote, a lot who do voted for Trump, & ~22 million didn't. That's a lot of ppl for the EOL to laugh at.
One critique I agree with is that the Edgy Online Left always disdains cringy white women resistance style stuff re Trump, but genuinely this demographic could seriously be radicalised. And educated white women especially are *already* seething! Huge strategic mistake, basically cos of sexism imo.
Cos, like, yeah, they are really not carrying women anywhere near as solidly, and women with degrees seem on the verge of declaring jihad against them.
