When you smugly point to the coach’s career win percentage in response to people pointing to obvious flaws, you absolutely earned people giving you shit when they lose one they shouldn’t.
"Each week, we say the coach is bad, yet the team wins over and over again. This week, the team lost a close game. That proves we are right." -- Actual argument from person thinking he is making a sound point.
We’ve been saying this the entire time cause there have been obvious major flaws while you’ve just been pointing to win percentage all season

Populism is popular. In other news, the sun will rise in the east this morning.
It’s not just total randos either.

I have no problem with Mamdani having a friendly meeting with the president but the people jizzing themselves over the prospect of illiberal horseshoe politics are a big problem.

Got any of those actual NFL WRs?!??

…each one more annoying than the one before it.
Cris Collinsworth will work his his 500th NFL game (regular + postseason) as an analyst this Sunday for Rams at Bucs on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. NBC sys he's worked NFL games in 52 stadiums with 13 play-by-play partners.

This sure looks like well-orchestrated political theatre. They pushed back long enough to clean the documents sufficiently, then Trump pivots to supporting the release while telling this clown to make a big show of, “oh no. Please don’t rush this!” This might be their best work.
Q: Do you acknowledge that by voting for this discharge petition today, that's a reversal for you? You could've put this on the floor months ago

MIKE JOHNSON: It's not a reversal

This is exactly right. Crypto is changing payments, as well. It’s just not happening as fast and transparently as people were hoping in 2020.
The AI bubble is annoyingly like the internet bubble. Online pet food and grocery delivery were terrible businesses in 2001, but they aren't today.

Internet companies are now worth trillions and it did change everything. Many just spent too much too soon and made the right bet at the wrong time.

Have we learned anything? The dumbest people in our society are not going to suddenly wake up and become intellectually honest.
“Trump never worked with Epstein!”

“No, Trump’s the one who turned him in!”

“No, the Epstein stuff is a Democrat hoax!”

“No, those files are fake!”

Watching MAGA twist themselves into pretzels over the past year has been something to behold.

This will be their undoing.

We love to see it!
A decade ago, solar power barely registered in Hungary’s electricity mix — just 0.2% of generation. Back then, nuclear, coal, and gas dominated the grid.

Fast forward ten years and solar power now supplies around 1/4 of Hungary’s electricity — a remarkable transformation.

Having a top 5 (arguably the best) roster in the league covers up a lot of coaching and QB warts. I’m not sure why eagles fans struggle to acknowledge this.
Fourth-winningest coach by percentage in history and defending Super Bowl champion is bad, actually.
Here’s my hot take. I don’t think he’s a good coach. At all. I just think Howie has built such a talented team, not even Sirianni can fuck it up.

The other 3 quarters, unfortunately…
Few quarterbacks are better in the clutch, in the fourth quarter, than Jalen Hurts.

He’s not equally or more culpable than Daboll. That’s for sure. The roster still needs work. You could argue they should be 5-5 or 6-4 at this point just from games they had solid leads in. 2 of his 2025 draft picks willed the team to a convincing victory against a division rival on national TV.
What does this mean for Joe Schoen, who hasn't had a great success rate at the top of the draft and let Saquon Barkley and Xavier McKinney leave in free agency last year? Would argue he's equally or even more culpable for the disappointing seasons since the playoff win.

How could this be? All offseason the pundits told me this team was ready to contend for a Super Bowl.
Dan Quinn says he’s taking over as Commanders defensive coordinator.

Washington has lost its last four games by 21+ points, the longest such streak since the 2002 Cardinals.

You an NFL fan?
Every New Yorker: “Unfortunately, my city doesn’t have an NFL team.”
After today's results, the Giants now have a worse record than the Jets over the last 5(!) years.

Jets: 25-52
Giants: 24-53-1

Jets fans: This is the day to text your Giants fans friends.

Genuinely thought this was the new Bryan Johnson drop for a second.
Father forgive them for they know not of Lore

Terrible take. He went from zero supporting cast to legit nfl offense back to zero supporting cast. Geno was very good when he had a real offense.
I understand he’s hurt at this moment, but outside of a brief moment in time in Seattle with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, I’m not sure Geno Smith has ever been more than an average starting quarterback.

Kind of a strange paradox we’re facing - if we keep losing emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills, we might actually be better off letting AI handle more decisions. Not sure how I feel about that.

There is a profound lack of imagination when it comes to the impact of agentic commerce. We are still in the early stages of people buying things online, and this will undoubtedly accelerate that.
Walmart is up 5% today because you can now buy goods from Walmart in ChatGPT. Recently Sam Altman was shocked that deals they announce results in a stock pop for the partner. I feel the same way.

How much volume will shopping in ChatGPT drive to move the needle on Walmart’s $681B in annual revenue?
Walmart teams with OpenAI to let shoppers buy products through ChatGPT
OpenAI and Walmart announce ChatGPT shopping integration that will enable Walmart shoppers to buy products within the AI chatbot platform soon.

Does anyone honestly care about this? Would we be monitoring who the bad backup QB is on a bad football team if not for the famous last name?

Add Malik Nabers to the asterisk. Might as well Micah McFadden while we are doing this.
With no Mitchell and no Jalen Carter, this game is going to need a big ol' asterisk when we're talking about the Eagles' season in December and January.
