It's hard to admit, but disability benefits/rights have potential to be interfered with in the near future. Let's try our best to keep vigilant on the nuances & plan as best as we can to maintain quality of life 💜 plan for the worst, be delighted when it's not!

Turning tragedy into disability blaming is NOT how we want to promote #epilepsyawareness, but it's more important now than ever to speak up and tackle misinformation while it's a hot topic!

For us Americans, the ADA regulates accessibility features such as curb ramps or automatic doors. If you are somewhere and notice they are not compliant with ADA, you are able to report a violation right on ada.gov. Don't comply to a business who can't comply with our rights.

DYK: There's nothing wrong with needing to take an allergy pill (antihistamine), but taking a version with decongestant (Claritin D, Zyrtec D) has potential to impact one's seizure threshold. Always consult your doctors!

Typically we associate MLK Jr's legacy with race equality, but Civil Rights include disability rights.

This is my daughter, Alice Hale. This picture was taken while Alice belonged to Odyssey, an #LGBTQ+ support group for teenagers in Spokane, WA, while they were compiling members' photos & COMING OUT stories. Unfortunately, the project wasn't completed.

A professional photographer donated his time.
