The tariff policy changes every ten minutes. What a joke.

It’s nuclear grade incompetence that would be laughable except they’re ruining people’s lives for sport. Just shameful.

The credibility of the US government is completely shot.

Gone.

Annihilated.

Nobody anywhere in the world can believe a single word that comes out of this Administration.

Ever.

This is great - and what every Dem leader needs to be doing.

And Jeffries and Schumer and the whole Dem leadership should be calling for a day of action when millions stream into DC and many millions more all turn out for parallel events in every state with local Dem leaders.
Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back.

This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.

Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.

And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

When these institutions — big law firms, Ivy League universities —bow to Trump rather than fighting what appear to be illegal orders, do they think he’ll just be satisfied and stop? Do they just expect others to fight where they won’t?

As today's originalists sit idle while the world's richest man and his minor billionaire patron run the US government with no regard for checks or balances, it's worth remembering that in 1787 the fairly conservative Noah Webster noted that great accumulations of wealth could destroy a republic.

If your excuse as an elected official, here in 2025, for not doing something that is in the interest of Dems who elected you is that Republicans might weaponize it, you are not living in 2025. They are going to weaponize anything you do, either way. They have demonstrated this over and over.

And there it is.

Accommodation and acquiescence. Learned helplessness and preemptive surrender. Retreat and complicity.

In the midst of an unprecedented assault on the constitutional order, the nominal opposition party fails to use the one key tool in its arsenal to push back. What a disaster.
The final tally to advance the CR is 62-38.

The Democrats who voted for cloture, giving Donald Trump everything he wants:

Cortez Masto (NV)
Durbin (IL)
Fetterman (PA)
Gillibrand (NY)
Hassan (NH)
Peters (MI)
Schatz (HI)
Schumer (NY)
Shaheen (NH)

If we are honest, we are ready to throw our phones at Senators, but we still need to push them. This bill cannot pass.

We are getting a LOT of messages asking "why say the Democratic Senators need to be pressured, aren't they doing everything they can?"

No, they are not. Not close.

Democrats in the Senate are going along with what Republican Senators want, because they want to be buddy-buddy with those R's. 1/2

Learn from history- rights to peaceful protest & assembly CANNOT be taken for granted. Use them or lose them! For that to be effective, we need to create safety in large numbers. They can arrest/intimidate a few of us, but not ALL of us! 💪

Keep showing up! ✊

📆Next 50501 Day of Action is Sat 4/5!
I know a lot of us are pissed at Dems today, myself included lol,

I’ve found shouting at protests to be one of the best ways to release anger! 🪧

See you at the @50501movement.bsky.social protests on Sat, April 5th! 🗽

The problem with Democratic Party is that no one takes them seriously because they don’t take themselves seriously.

You can’t simultaneously argue Trump is a fascist intent on destroying democracy but your major response is to wear a pink suit to a speech, and expect to be taken seriously.

Trump didn't win 50% of the popular vote.

The GOP has slim margins in both the House and Senate.

His approval ratings are tanking.

He does not have a mandate.

Do not let him gaslight you into believing he is all powerful.

He's not.
