I've been a Hulu member since the service launched in 2007. Not anymore. Boycotting ABC/Disney is a surprisingly easy decision!

Everybody gamely says “Vance hosted Kirk’s podcast” instead of “the regime officially turned the major channel into state-controlled media just as it began its violent crackdown on any opposition or dissident messages.”

I’m sorry for the long post but a lot of you have followed me for a long time, since 2016 when I was one of the first to repeatedly call out Trump for being a Russian asset.

I don’t know how else to say this, as a person who has studied cults (wrote a bestseller about it) and totalitarian states.

Tomorrow, as we enjoy our #July4 BBQ, remember farm workers are harvesting in sweltering in dangerous heat - while being terrorized by ICE.

Today's highs are projected at:
Arvin CA 105°
Fresno CA 103°
Coachella CA 105°
Yuma AZ 105°

I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy.

I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. I’m sorry we have to live through this.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

My husband and I caught the World's Strongest Man highlights today (which I fuckin love, I could watch them all day) while at a fave bar, and it led to a conversation about the kinds of cultural contributors to sport and how they intersect with politics and yes we ARE a lot of fun at parties.

Budzinski: Families making over $700,000 a year will see a boost of $12,000 almost entirely from tax cuts. Shockingly, households making $23,000 a year or less are set to lose about $1600 a year, mostly due to deep cuts to Medicaid and food assistance

I know corporate media wants social networks tell them what the One Big Story is of the day. But that's not what social media is for. It's for humans to connect with other humans. We don't need you to tell us the narrative.

This is an EXCELLENT piece that is nevertheless one of the funniest, most pathetic things I've ever read. What a bunch of clowns.

Sen Mike Lee & the silence from Republicans made it clear: decency is in the rearview mirror.

After he mocked a political assassination, Ed Shelleby, a senior staffer to Sen Tina Smith, wrote to Lee’s top staffers.

@lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com read it on-air, and honestly everyone should hear it.
