The jagged teeth of the right-wing creates a tall, sharp mountain range, while the meager line showing left-wing is tepid and small. Last year's 29 right-wing terror attacks to last year's 1 left-wing terror attack seems much more significant than this year's 1 right-wing terror attack to this year's 5 left-wing terror attacks. A footnote indicates that this year's data is only through July 4. Numerous right-wing attacks have occurred since.

These trails just never get old. Ever.
A sunny, cloudless blue sky over a lush, green foreground. There are tall grasses and sedges and greenery growing in this wetland, with the skeletal frames of tall, old trees. Riding out of the deep trees and coming upon this landscape is one of my favorite moments on this trail.

My friends tease me sometimes about how I can go back to the same trail over and over again, but I love it so very much. Having a default place makes getting out the door almost automatic, even on days when I don't really feel like getting out of bed. It's always there for me.

Everything about this weekend was phenomenal. A+ no notes.
