THE ORDER is an excellent true crime thriller about the downfall of a violent neo-nazi gang in the early '80s. Of course, it's extremely depressing when you consider that their fellow travelers now control our government.

Put the Blair Witch Project on, its been a while. And for all the found footage films I have seen .. the vibe of sheer realism that the Blair Witch achieves is nothing short of astonishing.

How you would achieve this feeling of realism with current day camera's I have no clue..

New Fox chyron is excellent.

Team names: huge.
Score: huge.
Logos: none. Colors say enough.
Needless chrome: none.
Timeouts remaining: prominent but not distracting.
Down and yards to go indicator: conveys which team has the ball.
Typography: classic, legible, bold, timeless.

Outstanding design.

I do not get it. Just watched The Order a fantastic film. With some of the most beautiful cinematography of this year and last year.

And the only option to watch it is Amazon prime. Not even a cinema release.

Give these movies a chance to be seen on the big screen.

It's such a shame...

just thinking about the movie Patterson...about a poet who just writes poetry for himself. He doesn't try to get it published, he doesn't go to poetry slams or open mic nights. He just writes it for himself, and that's it. There is no rags to riches arc and it's not necassary for the story to work

What have they done to Daft Punks Interstella 5555.... Crowd shots and small details completely ruined by ai upscaling. Backgrounds one big smudge...

Worst remaster I have ever seen in my life.... Just horrendous.

Thank God for the music though. Should have just shut my eyes.

Very amusing anecdote about Burt Reynolds meeting Kubrick to audition for 2001 in a letter from Tony Rayns in Sight & Sound.
I miss him.
