Cumbria, 1391. The last wolf in England felt desperately alone. He lived in the thorn woods at Humphrey Head & his one friend was a kind girl who gave him bacon & buttery scones. When he was killed & his soul flew over the sea, he howled her name to the dying sun, to the waves

In Prague this evening, celebrating the peaceful protests of this day in 1989 - known as the Velvet Revolution - that brought about freedom here. "Democracy is NOT dead" reads one placard -but rarely in the years since that overthrow has democracy across Europe and the world looked so endangered. 🇨🇿🇺🇦

Steve is trying to remember how many beers he's had. Alas, very high numbers like this are challenging, but he's trying his best.

This small button brooch, with its friendly face, dates back to the Anglo-Saxon period.

Button brooches are a type of early Anglo-Saxon brooch commonly found in the south east of England. Objects like this are typically decorated with an anthropomorphic, or human-style face.

I like immigrants.

I like their food.

I like their work ethic.

I like it they are different from me.

I can’t be the only Brit who feels this way.
