Demonschool is a lot more combat focused than I expected. The locations are kinda limited. There’s no real exploring which is what I’m used to as it tells you exactly what’s in each place. Instead it has an intricate fighting system that I need to spend more time with to get my head around.

I have an unnamed MC in my short story Kisses With Fists. a trans lesbian who just broke up with her gf and finds comfort in a bunch of superlosers in a cafe. She’s very low self esteem but learns to stand up to her ex after they form an evil team with everyone else’s exes #SFFChat

Gender doesn’t really mean much in the world I’m writing about at the minute. It’s digital. Anyone can change their appearance more or less at will. Variety and alternatives are encouraged and criticism of physical appearance barely goes beyond the same level people might judge clothing #SFFChat

All my characters are varying forms of synthetic life that evolved from the companion robots that outlived mankind and, with no other purpose, started mimicking humans for their own reasons. Sana is a digital lifeform in a race of beings who uploaded to a simulated world (London circa 2000)

People forget that anime characters are cat people. And cats are liquid. So any way to draw an anime person’s face is correct
I just want to say. I feel as though the Frieren head angle meme really highlighted a long standing weakness in the anime style that's persisted for decades and also the reason I started looking toward other styles over the years.
